How to choose a
branding agency in Lebanon.
A brand is more than a logo, and the agency you pick decides how far it can go. These are the questions we would ask if we were the client, based on identities we have built for hospitality, real estate and retail brands in Lebanon, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

1. Do they start with strategy or with sketches?
A good branding agency asks about your audience, competitors, positioning and goals before drawing anything. If the first meeting ends with logo options, the brand will look nice but say very little.
2. What exactly is in the deliverables?
Ask for a written list: logo and its variations, colour palette, typography, patterns or graphic elements, tone of voice, and key applications such as business cards, social templates and signage. Vague proposals lead to surprises later.
3. Will you get brand guidelines?
Guidelines are what keep your brand consistent when other designers, printers or staff use it. A proper guidelines document shows the rules, the do's and don'ts and real examples.
4. How many concepts and revision rounds?
Two or three concepts and a fixed number of revisions is normal. Knowing this upfront keeps the timeline and budget under control.
5. Who owns the final files?
You should receive the editable source files and all logo formats (AI, SVG, PNG, PDF) with full rights to use them. Make sure this is written in the agreement.
6. Can they show the brand in real life?
Look at their portfolio for brands applied to real things: packaging, uniforms, menus, event décor, social media. A logo on a white background tells you little about how it will perform.
7. Can the same team roll it out?
After the identity comes the launch: social media, website, shoots, signage and events. Working with one team that can roll the brand out keeps everything consistent and saves time.
8. What is the timeline?
A complete identity with guidelines usually takes four to eight weeks, depending on the scope and how quickly feedback comes back. Be wary of anything much faster or open-ended.
