Designing a showroom
Christmas for the camera.

A car showroom at Christmas has a specific challenge: the cars must stay the stars. Here is how we approached the festive décor for the Mercedes-Benz showroom of T. Gargour & Fils.

The cars stay the stars

In a showroom, the product is already on the floor, and it is beautiful. Festive décor should add warmth to the space without competing with what customers came to see.

Around the cars, not on top of them

So we designed the décor around the vehicles instead of over them. The cars keep their space, their light and their lines, and the décor sits in the room with them.

Flocked trees and a snow island

Flocked trees and a snow island framed the vehicles. Soft white textures and a few gold touches bring the season in, and they let the cars remain the focus of every view.

Every corner is a photo spot

We planned every corner as a photo spot, so customers would want to take a picture and share it. A festive setup that gets photographed keeps working for the brand long after the visit.

Adding less, planning more

Good festive décor is not about adding more. It is about knowing where people will stand, what they will photograph, and what you want in that frame.

Start with the frame

Before choosing a single ornament, ask what the picture should look like. When the frame is right, the décor, the space and the product all work together.
